Yes, babies!!! You see, whenever a baby has any need, the first thing they do is
CRY! They cry loud, long, and strong!!! They cry out to their known source of life
to get their needs met.
AND if they have loving parents, every need is met when they cry out!!!
(Some of you know whereI’m going with this.)
When we, God’s children, are overwhelmed, frustrated, lonely, etc, often that’s
the time we cry out to God. However, we shouldn’t wait until we are stressed or
discouraged to cry out to God.
Daily “self care”starts with pouring our hearts out to the Lord for our every need.
After all, God is the source of our existence, our creator, and the sustainer of our
life. Is He not:
Our Good Shepherd, (John 10:11 & 14)
Always with us? (Matthew 28:20)
The author & finisher of our faith, & (Hebrews 12:2)
Doesn’t the one who numbers our hairs and cares for the sparrows also care for
us?
So, today take a tip from a baby and cry out to the Lord for all of your needs!!
